Which of these two Pokémon sits higher in the National Pokédex?
Unlike almost every other category here, these numbers never change. National Pokédex entries are fixed, which makes this mode pure recall rather than estimation.
The trick is knowing where each generation begins and ends. Kanto runs to 151 and Johto to 251, so if you can place a Pokémon in its generation you can usually bracket its number closely enough to make a confident call.
The original 151 are the easiest to place. Later favourites like Lucario and Greninja are where most players start guessing rather than knowing.

How it works
You are shown two items side by side. One reveals its number; the other hides it behind a question mark. Decide whether the hidden value is higher or lower, and every correct call extends your streak. One wrong guess ends the run. If the two values are equal the answer counts as correct either way, so a tie never costs you anything. The game is free, runs entirely in your browser, and needs no account.
